The second level at The Arts Factory is a co-working space. 

We currently have a 3-month special for new clients where for a part-time rate, you receive full-time access! Please contact us for more details or see the full-time options listed below. 

Full-Time Desks - $350/month
Monthly rent includes, 24/7 access to The Arts Factory, a desk, chair, filing cabinet and locker, your own mailing address and mailbox, high-speed internet, 10-hours of bookable meeting room per month, access to print and copy services ($0.07 for B&W, $0.15 for Colour), access to common areas like kitchen, bathrooms, meeting rooms and phone room with free expresso, regular cleaning and maintenance of common areas. . Rates & Terms for Full-Time desks are $350-month, plus $16 for insurance per person.

Part-Time Desks - $175/month
Monthly part-time rent includes all of the above except, 80-hours a month of non-exclusive use of a desk, chair, and filing cabinet and 5-hours of bookable meeting room per month. Rates & Terms Part-Time desks are $175-month, plus $16 for insurance per person.

One month's rent is required as a security deposit Deposit required for access fob.

The Arts Factory has two large boardrooms for rent for groups up to eight people. 
Non-profit rental rate: $15/hour (add $25/hour for use outside of office hours) 
Commercial rental rate: $25/hour (add $25/hour for use outside of office hours)

The Arts Factory has a 1400 s/f hallway gallery for rent. 

The Arts Factory Hallway Gallery is a 1400 square foot space in a transformed warehouse with a concrete floor, white walls, an accessible bathroom, kitchen and adjustable gallery lighting. It is available to rent for events with a capacity of 100 people or fewer. As the number of events we can hold per month is restricted by zoning laws, availability is limited and at the discretion of the Arts Factory.

Event rentals are $400 / day for a 4 pm – 12 am rental time. Your setup and tear down time must be included in these eight hours. It is possible to add additional hours, if needed.

Rentals include:

Non-exclusive use of the Hallway Gallery, kitchen and washrooms. The Arts Factory is home to working artist studios and our artists have access 24-hours a day. Depending on the time of your rental, artists may need to access the shared areas and there may be some noise transference from the studios. Having said that, we notify everyone in the building well in advance and they generally avoid the hallway space when there are events.

Venue manager on site during events for general security and information.

Because of our zoning (Light Industrial), if your event will include more than 30 people, you must apply for and obtain an Arts Events License from the City of Vancouver. Cost for this license ranges from $50 - $150.

All events that plan on serving liquor need to obtain a Special Event Permit from the BC Liquor Distribution Branch and submit a copy to the Arts Factory.

Renters are responsible for providing security & staff to work the door.

At the end of your rental, the Hallway Gallery, including any walls altered for the hanging of art, must be returned to their original condition. Any clean up or repairs required will be billed to the renter.
